A Walk in The Park

yup, that's what I did today. Took a long walk in the park. All the way around. Took me about 1:20 minutes. Now that's slow. I just did not feel up to the speed.Maybe it was shorter but I finished at 11:20. Any how, it's good to be back out in the sunshine:)

It Really is Thursday

Even though the clock says 12:47 AM it's still Thursday for me to have gotten my exercise in. I ate horrible today and I wish I could clean it out. One thing though, it all did taste good. I ate like a pig today. Trash, just pure trash. I think when you eat one thing you like it seems the rest is sure to follow. I ate a slice of Pizza, cake and Ice cream and pasta. Oh my goodness. I need to work out for a month eating like that but.. I'm not.

I did my 10 minute squeeze down even at 12:45 Am.

Any how, I promised myself I would do this and I did. I came home from work and did my 10 minute exercise. This time I timed it and it was 10 minutes even with my breaks. I love it. Just do it and do it. :)

Great. Absolutely Great. Love this. Just need to do it and do. I say that but I'm going to keep saying it. do it and do it.
Did the swings today with the 25 lb
15 swings.
Squats, clean and press, snatch, all with 18 for 10 reps x 2 sets.

Music and Exercise

I JUST found out why a lot of exercise I don't like. Exercise is like music, sometimes there are songs that make you happy and some songs make you want to turn the volume down and/or turn the channel.

I want music like jazz. Soft, moving, rhythmic not head banging or rap music.

I think I'll put on some smooth jazz and see how that feels with my 10 minute kettlebell practice.

New 10 Minute get it done

Did the exercise Lisa Shaffer suggests of 10 Minutes. Will really commit to this this week. Last week I only made 2 days. Not good at all. This week, time to pick it up.
* Swings - 15 reps
* Clean and press - 5-10 reps per arm
* Front squats - 5-10 reps
* Snatch - 10 reps per arm
Do this for 10 minutes. Took one 1 minute break. sides hurt. I really don't now what causes this.Like the pains I used to get when I ran when younger. That is what stopped me from running in my younger days. These sever pains I get in my sides that feel like a severe tightening and then it releases like after 5 minutes. But as I'm writing this, it's hurting. so much that you can't move.

Just a little at a time

Feels good to do just something. Doesn't matter to me the time. I need to stop being so judgmental about the time I exercise and be glad I'm doing something each day. It is not an all or nothing and something is better then nothing. Did Target Toning today, Lower body, Standing core and flexibility from Kettlenetics.

Working it

Did Amy Bento Abs and Stretch today. I think 15 minutes of it. It's a long DVD. Then I decided to do some Kettlentics again:) I did the Abs, Standing Core and Stretch. This took me around 45 minutes to complete. I enjoyed the movement and I'll keep at it by being persistent and steady.

Basic Flow Motion

I'm getting it. I did the windmills with my 10 lb kb. Felt good to bend over on the sides. I just have to keep thinking of putting the butt muscles out the back door when I do the sides, That what the Instructor said:)
I'm happy with the days I've scheduled, just to do something. I don't want to have it set that I do this on this day that on that day, my goal is to some form and then when it's a lot easier to just do, maybe I'll do programs, but I really don't care to. I like being free spirited and just taking the ride each day I get a chance to get on the horse.

Kettlenetics Kb Target Toning

This is great.. I love the movement. It's the movement in exercise that makes me like it. If it's too boring, slow, or too quick, fast, It doesn't suite me. I can keep up with her in this. The exercises are challenging. I like to move. I don't like to dance so I know, no dancing DVD's for me. Stick with this until I know it. There is not going to be a time plan on this exercise rotation. I am just going to pull one out each day I am to exercise and do it. When things are too ridgid as in I have to do this today, then it does not work.I seem to be a spontaneous exerciser, free to do what moves me that day like the scent of perfume. Every day, I don't wear the same perfume so why do the same exercise day after day and be boring. That's not my life. That's not what motivates me. I like to learn and do.

Keeping up

Keeping up and moving along. It really is good to exercise. the most difficult part is putting on the clothing and getting set up. Once I do that, I'm reay. My mind is set for doing the best I do and doing it the correct way. I want to get stronger and make body changes so I'm looking for what works for me. My mind,My body and my time. There is a lot that has to make me happy, music, movement, timing, length, voices and amount of weight. I do love exercise but I need to be pushed sometimes and then, when I get to work and see how good I feel, I wonder why it takes me so long to get going. Why, will someone please tell me?

Kettlenetics

It really is fun. I look forward to exercising now. What ever it takes, I'm doing it. I like it and I'm going to do it tomorrow if I wake up in time, no... I will. They have a short version. So, I'm glad i bought this or is it borrowing it from the QVC card:) lol I want to be fit and If I die trying, who cares about the credit card. I was happy trying to be healthy.

Cardio Balanced

I did this today. It feels good when I do exercise. I concentrate on what i'm doing and that takes my mind away from thoughts I don't want to have. It went well. My first time. I think I did better then I do Flow Motion. I'm going to work and work at this puppy and be slimmer then I"ve ever been in my life!!! at least I will be, the Tytbody that I know I deserve!!!!

The Begining?

Well, there is no mincing words here. I just got told to go my way and take dates and enjoy myself and to get what I want to make me happy...

As I go through the evening, I am getting good messages to mediate and ask for healing to heal my heart and the heart of those that hurt me. Tonight I will lay still and pray the prayer of protection over my life so that I will not harden my heart. They also talked about this very thing in Church Last week. God must have know, he did know, I was going to need this word for this very situation.

Patriots Place

Went to Patriots Place today and it was a good time. Ray took me to Patriots Place to see Gran Torino. It was a very good movie. Had some tough language in there but the point of the movie was great. It happens. I had a good time walking around the stores and eateries. Had good food at CBS Scene Restaurant Bar and Grill. Had who knows how many TVS and big screens up. Awesome place to go. Would go back for the Pizza:)

4 this week

I got it done and it was fun.!!! now that's an improvement.I did Kettlenetics on Friday and realy liked it. I'm keeping this. I have to get rid of Kettlbell Konnection. Too bad more people don't know about this as it's not a good video. Poor production and she won't take it back, that sucks. I'm not getting Amy Bento's kettlebell either. Too many fish want to jump on the wagon and they can't even live on air. lol. Now she doesn't give me a refund I'll be sure to let the exercise vidiots know about her also.

Wednesday Jan 21

yes, I exercised. I did Cobb Salad and the Windmills. I will do these videos like I did the 12 week ETK.Just keep doing the same thing for 8 weeks, then switch up. that makes it better and better.

Today, January 22, I just did some swings. Rest for 30 seconds and did a few more. My internet service was down so I went to Barns and Noble and got connected there. I have to be in the net.. I like getting information and passing some on.

Inauguration Day of President Obama

Well, this is my blog and I can write off the beaten path. I am so happy to have seen this day. I did not ever think there would be a day like today. Yeas ago, we could only dream. Barack, has made that dream come true. I guess I have more hope. Why now, because this is more then someone dying or being born. The world has been white for years and years. The only place to see a Black President would be Nigeria, Haiti, Jamaica etcetera. But America.. Lord thank you. Some may say what's the big deal!!! If it weren't a BIG DEAL, then why on earth was there not a Black Man before him!!! That's why. Let it a a usual thing. It's just beautiful!!!! GOD BLESS HIM like no other president before!!!!!!

I love my journey

It's different, I'm not a nut. I'm not a vidiot and I just want to do it the right way. There are going to be a lot more ways to do kettlebells and I guess, it's what way you want to do them. Some will choose Pavel some will choose who ever is coming down the pike. A lot like religion. Not to say there is one way in religion but if you don't know anything, you'll take anything and not know the difference. For this particular instance, Kb's, there is one way. I see anyone who is an exercise enthusiast, professional or athlete, now wants a piece of Kettbells. Why don't they stay doing what they were doing? Why??? because it is better, it does work and it's not a lot of mess. I did my goal of 4 days this week, I may not have posted them all but I know, my body knows, I did it.

Most part was learning today. Learning that Figure 8 to Hold getting it back up on the shoulder. Then transition to alternating Clean, then squat. We seem to be doing a lot of squats. Guess, I'm going to begin liking them or getting better at them.

Anyway, before the Cobb Salad I did the Kettleworx for fun. There are moves in there I'll call warm up to the real deal. Just take it for a gay workout.

Any how: Learning the Cobb and look forward to repeating it again and again and again..

I did something today I'm still not very enthusiastic about.. I pre-ordered a video that has not even filmed yet. ya, what's up with that. I was thinking she got training from a legitimate RKC and then to find out, it's still going to be her style. That means, not all RKC with the moves implemented correctly. Oh well, I don't do all mine correct yet but you know what? I do know how to do them, just not fast in a sequence. So, it's practice my dear. Practice, patience, persistence.

Pasta Salad

Way to go Jessica. This is a very very difficult routine even though it's in the beginner Intermediate category. I don't know when I'll do this again or maybe just keep doing it until I get it. Today was the first day for it so, it's okay that I was not sure on my footing. That's because i had to concentrate on what was the next move and being sure the bell was in the right position. I don't know why I get this twingle in my right arm on certain moves. I need to pay more attention to where my arm is so I can pin point it better. I'm just glad so glad that I did it. I know I can do this, but I've got to be patient with myself. I guess, Mine is the only journey to success I'll see so, I have to do it so someone can see it later.

1 Clean, 1 MP, 1 Overhead Lunge to rack to squat. Repeated x 3 each side, then 2 x each side, then once each side, then rest one minute. done for 4 rounds.

I did:
1 Swing
1 High Pull
1 Snatch 3 x each side for a total of 4 rounds
Then 2 Hand swing with 40 sec rests, rests were step ups on high step for 5 minutes.

It is all so doable.

Done today at 6:25. It was really nice because I like Swings, High Pull and Snatches. I will perfect my left arm on the Snatch before moving on. Otherwise, working in small increments works well for me.

Great day today

I did some Kettlebell Worx and it was fun. Oh ya, it can be fun. it is not a kb exercise though but it doesn't have a dread factor. It can be fun. I did that for 1 set and then I did my own Salad from Kettlebell Konnection. I can see how this works and i'm going to make a go of it. I did Tuna Salad today and that was fun. Here is Tuna:
1 Swing
1 High Pull
1 Snatch.Then you do this 3 x. I also added on the Romaine And Cheese. Romaine is 5 Front Squats and the Cheese is 10 Russian Twists. This was one of my goals of last year so you know I did it and Loved it. !!! I love this DVD and I'm making a commitment to work it work it work it. !!!

Kettlebell Konnection

This just arrived today and I did it. I did the Appetizer which consists of ROM exercise. Then I did Simple Salad which is the beginner circuit I imagine as that is what she suggested to do. I got it done. It was pretty quick.

It was:
20 2 hand swings
Jogging in place for their 20 Power Jacks.

I think I need quick as it does not leave a dread in my head. I get it done and can move on. I will ask how often to do this before doing another Salad. All her combos are in Salad names such as Greek,Green, Arugula, etc. Fun and healthy. Lovely choice of routines. There is a lot to chose from here and I can ask her anytime what's next. Also, she has a scripture at her signature. That speaks a lot to me. She also thanks the Lord in the Credits of her video before the humans.

The Vacation Week

so far it's been a great week. Some complaints but that's part of living... ain't it. But. I got a good buy on my looming hooks. Got them on sale at 50% off at AC.More. so the cost was 11+ change.Better than $19.99+. I bought my calcium. I received my Kettlebell Konnection DVD and it is packed. It is loaded, can't get no more in there. The picture quality is not the best but the dvd makes up for that. I know I will use this. She is a bit fast but each day I use it, I'll write how I feel. They are short but powerful. Longer then Power & Grace.
Just ate so won't be doing exercise for at least an hour.

Ist of the year

It's a start and a start all over. How many times do I have to see this starting line:) Should be faded by now.:)
Any how. I got it done. I had to take a shower before I exercised to get in the mood. Maybe I will put this on mood watch to see what motivates me. It's also looking in the mirror and remembering the compliments Steve gives me when he says *hey slim* I love it.

so today I did Iron Core 3 just one circuit. The plan is to do another later on this evening. They say you don't have to do it all at one time. I'm going to use those words today because I sure did not feel like it.

Food and knitting are next on ajenda.

New DVD

Purchased a new DVD today because I need and want to keep using my KB. The price is definitely not as expensive as the others of which I just knew I couldn't do. This is by a lady, RKC and it looks like I can do it without getting board. Some I do and get board but I still do it. I will count this as part of being on goal.

Happy New Year

New Year, new start, new goals.
I just got back from food shopping and ya, I ate a sandwich. Yup, a sandwich, not a good first choice but it was on organic whole wheat bread.
I'm off for a whole week and I'm going to set some goals. That meaning, think about it. Write it down and how to get it done. Right now I just want to sit and knit for awhile and enjoy my freedom of not having to look at the clock for 10 whole days.
